On October 19, 2023, MCC signed a sole agency agreement with Dao Coffee, the largest coffee producer in Laos, for sales in Japan.
Dao Coffee grows coffee beans in the Bolaven Plateau, which is suitable for coffee cultivation, taking advantage of the geographical superiority of Laos. The company produces world-class, top-quality, mainly Arabica and Robusta coffee, including roasted coffee beans with a unique flavor that cannot be found anywhere else.
In recent years, regular coffee has become a favorite of people anywhere and anytime, like a convenience store café, and new coffees are in demand. We will continue to develop Laotian coffee in Japan, with a focus on Dao Coffee, which is not yet well known in Japan.
We will continue to strive for the development of both Laos and Japan and the enhancement of corporate value of both companies.
