Polylactic acid (PLA) is an environmentally friendly biodegradable biomass plastic that is derived from plants and decomposed into water and carbon dioxide by microorganisms. It is a sustainable plastic that has a lower environmental impact than plastics derived from fossil resources.
We handle PLA raw materials as well as applied products such as food containers, packaging films, agricultural films, and cutlery.
In addition, as an initiative for “sustainable fashion” to address the issues of “mass production, mass consumption, and mass disposal” in the fashion industry, we will realize a future where existing plastic fibers are replaced with PLA.
